Hi Nina, Thank you for showing me the many sketches you did this week! I really enjoyed seeing the variety of horse drawings, from very realistic to fantastical (with a realistic look)! I love the drawings of the two horses (Palminos?). You did a great job with the foreshortening of the horse on the right. And, as I mentioned earlier today, the composition of the 2nd drawing is intriguing -- it's different, with the face of the horse filling most of the page and without the ears. My eyes are drawn to the bulging cheek, then to the eye with the white glint, next to the dark nostril and then to the mouth, a thin line that complements the line of the cheek. Then my eye follows the same sequence, over and over - a circular pattern.
Thanks for your comments! These two are pintos (the spotted coloring) I have a horse that my friend on deviant art drew for me that looked like this, i was inspired and drew more pictures of him :) I hope i can see you again soon!
